These speeches were written for the in-person exhibit at the Soule Branch Library of Onondaga County Public Libraries in Syracuse, New York on March 26. They were invited by the Shaw Center to contribute their knowledge because of the way their diverse perspectives came together to create a rich and deep portrayal of the Ukrainian and Ukrainian-American experience during the war. These individuals were all members of the Syracuse University community, some deeply embedded for many years, and some only recently becoming a community member after living in Ukraine. They were asked to give speeches with very little limitations on content; simply speeches appropriate for the event.
