The Greigiv Village Library is supporting the elderly, who have been made especially lonely during the war. The library has run the club “University of the Third Age” for elderly people to be able to take classes, show their creative abilities, and feel a part of a community.

The Dnipropetrovsk Regional Library for Children has adapted to the war by supporting internally displaced children. They provide a child psychologist to support children during trying times, and generally try to create a center of peace for both children and adults.

In the Drobyshev Village Library, librarians have become volunteers holding events for both children and adults who are internally displaced. They help readers participate in competitions, festivals, and flash mobs.

The Central Library for Children in Lutsk became an art therapy center to promote stress relief and creativity without anxiety. The library has become a place of socialization for IDPs. They have also taken over the functions of summer camps so that children can relax and spend their free time in safety.
